CLASS POLICIES
1. . All classes must be pre-registered & pre-paid to reserve a seat. Registration can be paid in person (by debit, cash, Visa or MC) or by phone with Visa or MC to 275-2204
---- classes are non-refundable unless cancelled by Dalcrafts. If class is cancelled, client will receive a full refund.
---- class size is limited. Anyone attending a class must have a paid registration.
---- anyone attending a class must be 10 years or older.
3.Basic Scrapbooking Kit: includes cutting tool ie paper trimmer or scissors; adhesives( dry and wet adhesive, strong double sided adhesive tape or tape runner): embossing or scoring tool; paper piercer; ink pads or chalk for distressing (optional) ;
"How Do I Begin?" Beginners Class:
You realize that you have a box (or boxes) fullof pictures... you just got marries, had a baby, went on a trip... and you went to Dalcrafts to get started on a scrapbook. But just walking through the door is overwhelming! The examples of pages are beautiful but you could never do that--- your creativity is housed some place else.And how are all the stickers, papers, tools and what nots used? This class is for you. we simplify the process, gently introduces you to a beginning scrapbookers must have list and helps you create your first page. We let you in on the secrets of acid free, lignin free and archival quality. Matting, journaling and cropping are explained and you will walk out knowing that you can throw away pictures and just put the best ones in an album that will be passed down from generation to generation.
To give everyone the help they need, this class is limited to 6 people. All nonrenewable supplies are provided.

Creating With MicroGlitter Technique Class:
Learn this stunning technique to make "glam" cards. In
class you will use the microglitter in 3 different techniques.
You will get to use our double-sided adhesive, our glitter
and the paper to work on. If you want to make a card with
the samples you make in class you will need to purchase
paper and most likely have to make the cards at home.
Please bring tweezers & something sharp e.g. paper
piercer, long needle, sharp point of an exacto knife etc.
Class fee: $20.00
Sticker & Stickles Beginners Card Making Class:
You will make 4 cards.
Colour of kits may vary. You will receive all the papers + ribbon
Other embellishments eg. stickles, gems,
brads must be provided by the client.

" A Black Tie Affair" Theme Book:
Come and create this unique "star" shaped book in one night.
Great gift for that Special person in your life.
You will pick the papers you want to use for this book when you register.
If picking papers night of the class, please come early so that the class
can start on time.
Class fee: $20.00
Bring a basic scrapbooking kit which must include a very strong
double-sided tape.
Memories On Canvas:
Scrapbook your pictures onto a pre-stained 12x16" canvas. Canvas, paper, and finish coat provided in class. Bring any embellishments or ribbon that you would like to add as decorations. Bring basic scrapbooking kit and bottle of tacky glue. $20.00
Interactive Theme Album:
Make a 6x6" theme album out of 3 CD cardstock paper folders. You will learn how to make the folders then put them together to make the album. Pictures & embellishing might be started in class if time permits but most will be done at home. Class will include:10- 12x12" cardstock papers to make album & interactive parts, ribbon & clasp closure & Magic Mesh. Class participant will bring basic scrapbooking kit including a tacky glue with good adhesion.
Afternoons: 1:00 to 4:00 or Evenings: 6:00 to 9:00

"Plan A Wedding/Party:
In this class you will be shown sample invitations & how to make them,
for wedding or any type of party; a sample of reply cards and samples of ways that you can make containers for wedding treats or petals (rice, confetti etc) to throw. You will be able to pick some papers and make samples, in your colours, to take home.
Class fee: $15.00 Bring basic scrapbooking kit.
Clear Acrylic Theme Book:
Clear theme books are very unique & very popular. It can be a little intimidating, working with layers that need to blend. Come to class and give it a try. In this class you have a choice.
Do the lighter-weight clear book for $20.00 or get brave & do the clear acrylic book that uses a heavier acrylic for $45.00 The choice is yours.
Bring a basic scrapbooking kit. Include a glue that is good for plastic e.g. Pioner glue stick; Zig marker; Zots(preferably, small)
Can bring approx. 10--- 4x6 pictures to help co-ordinate papers. Will be added if time permits. Cropping of some pictures may be necessary.
Class Descriptions
Step 2: Dreamweaver Technique Class
Dreanweaver embossing paste is an acrylic product that brings a whole new dimension to embossing. It comes in a variety of colours & a matte or gloss finish. The class will learn new techniques using Dreanweaver Embossing Paste & Stencils. **Please Note: It is recommended that you take the "Basic Dreamweaver Technique Class before taking this class.**

3D + Cuttlebug Card Class:
class fee-- $15.00
In this class, you will have the option to make 3 Black & white or sepia 3D cards.
You will also be given the opportunity to learn how to use various templates & folders in the Cuttlebug.
Bring a complete Basic Scrapbooking Kit
"Metallic Magic" Card Class:
Make these 3 elegant cards using Cuttlebug embossing and a rub-on technique. You will receive the paper necesarry to make the 3 cards as well as use of the rub-on medium and a cuttlebug template
Class fee: $15.00 Please bring a paper trimmer, double sided adhesive and Stickles for embellishing.
"Photo Wallet" Mini Books:
Make these 2 mini books that would be just the right size to keep like a wallet in your bag.
In class you will receive the material needed to make 2 mini books as shown in the picture.
You should bring a paper trimmer, double sided adhesive,stickles and any other materials you might want to use as an embellishment.
Class fee: 2 mini books/$15.00
"Dates To Remember:
Make this hard covered book that you can record all your special birthdays, anniversaries etc. in as well as a pocket for each month where you can keep cards all ready to send.
You will receive all the paper products needed to make the book and decorate the front.
You should bring a paper trimmer, strong double-sided adhesive as well as a glue stick or tacky glue that has a strong bond, stickles and any other embellishments you might want to use.
Class fee: $25.00
Card Holder Wall Hanging:
Make this neat wall hanging made of (4) 9x9" panels that you can use to display your Christmas / Greeting cards.
You will receive papers & trim as shown however colours & patterns on papers may vary depending on supplies that come in.
Class fee: $20.00
Bring paper trimmer, double sided tape adhesive , ink pad if you want to ink the edges,
6x6 Santa Theme Book:
Make this cute 6x6 Santa Theme book to add pictures to and give as a perfect picture book to grandparents, friends or keep as a coffee table seasonal book.
Papers may vary depending on supplies that come in.
Class fee: $20.00
Please bring a paper trimmer, double-sided tape adhesive, ink pad to ink edges, if desired.

Basic Dreamweaver Technique Class:
In this class you will learn the basics of using your stencils & dreamweaver paste as well as some colouring options. We will provide the paste, use of a stencil (if you do not wish to share the stencil(s) we have for the class, you will have to bring or buy your own) & and products used to colour or enhance the paste.
You must have your oun palette knife to apply paste.
Class fee: $15.00
Pop-up Card Class:
Come to this fun class and learn how to make pop-up elements to use in cards, on scrapbook pages or in board books.
In this class you will be shown how to make 3 pop-ups.
Bring a basic scrapbooking kit with a good adhesive.
Class fee: $15.00
Basic Stamping Techniques Class:
This is a class for anyone who would like to start stamping but is a little unsure how to get started. We will discuss different types of stamps, inks & embossing or enhancing mediums. Then we will do some basic stamping and embossing.
We will provide all the materials need, as long as you don't mind sharing.
Class fee: $15.00
To "Die" For Technique Class:
Do you have a Cuttlebug or Big Shot or Wizzard (Spellbinders) and just aren't very sure what it can do for you???
Then coming to this class is a MUST!!
We will show you how to use dies from different companies in each other's machines. You will be able to "play" around and get comfortable with a Cuttlebug, Wizzard, Big Shot and Sizzix.
This is your chance.
